Industrial motors has been around since the early 40’s originally selling Roots products, namely Humber, Hillman, Sunbeam, Singer, Comer and Karrier products. Industrial Motors became the sole distributors of Suzuki and Mitsubishi in the 1960’s. They were originally also the sole distributors for SEAT, prior to SEAT being amalgamated under the VAG group. SEAT distributorship is now located at Continental Cars ltd.

In 2008 Industrial Motors became the official Renault Trucks importer. Industrial Motors markets seven of Renault Truck's model range: Maxity, Mascott, Midlum, Premium, Magnum, Kerax and Puncher at the Industrial Motors showroom in Blata l-Bajda.
