Accounts Clerk

The Accounts Clerk is responsible to perform the day to day duties related to the accounts department, mainly the reconciliations of all the bank accounts of the automotive division including clearing of any pending transactions featuring in the reconciliation and assisting the Accounts and Logistics team
Main Duties & Responsibility
Perform day to day duties to the Accounts Department.
Post of Invoices in the sales, purchase, and nominal ledger.
Process requests for payment and prepares local and foreign payments.
Process and issuing invoices as directed by superiors.
Perform banking, cashiering transactions and reconciliations.
Post car registration payments.
Assist colleagues and superiors as required to ensure that end of month deadlines are met and that payments are issued by the stipulated deadlines.
Assist in the verification and reconciliation of the Goods Received Note.
Support the month-end and year-end close process.
Perform other administrative work, including answering of phone calls, filing and other duties that may arise.
Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the Finance Manager from time to time.
Strictly adhere to the Health and Safety Regulations and Company Policies.
Ensure that all company Procedures are adhered to in order to carry out the credit appraisals on a day to day basis.
Report any near misses or accidents to the Health and Safety Officer or any other staff member in the Human Resources Department.
Report any Health and Safety Hazards to the Health and Safety Officer.

Job Requirements
An ‘A’ level and/or AAT qualification in Accounts
ECDL Qualification or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset
Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skill and able to maintain good relationship with your peers;
Be highly organised and meticulous;
Have an eye for detail and an ability to relate well to people.
Be able to work in a team.
